Senior Security Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our IAM Engineering organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive solution-building experience across various Ping Identity products, including PingFederate, Ping DaVinci, PingOne, PingCentral, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and PingID Mobile. This role focuses on engineering rather than operations, and a background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a significant plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• 8+ years of overall experience in security engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Ping Identity products, including PingFederate, Ping DaVinci, PingOne, PingCentral, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and PingID Mobile.
• Strong engineering background with hands-on experience in building and deploying IAM solutions.
• In-depth understanding of IAM principles, including authentication, authorization, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and directory services.
• Experience with any programming language (Java preferably) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IAM issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with security standards and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools for automation and CI/CD.
