Senior Scrum Master

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an engineering, computer, or technically related field.
• 6+ years combined experience as a Scrum Master and/or Systems Engineer.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and techniques.
• Highly motivated and able to work well in both team and solo settings.
• Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML) software design principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Create and track Epics, Stories, and Tasks in JIRA.
• Create and track dashboards and status reports in JIRA.
• Facilitate Release and Sprint Planning meetings for the development team.
• Communicate team status, issues, and roadblocks to the Chief Engineer.
• Engage constructively with peers and managers to communicate design approach, trade-offs, and decisions.
• Turn “fuzzy” requirements into detailed Concept-of-Operations (ConOps).
• Create system-level designs: data models, data flows, component models, logical workflows, interface specifications & flows)
