We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reliability Engineer. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and implementing a comprehensive reliability program from the ground up, ensuring the reliability and performance of our assembly, test, development assembly, development machining, and military development assembly organizations. This role requires close work with maintenance supervisors and planner/scheduler for a successful outcome.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in reliability engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of reliability analysis techniques, FMEA, RCA, and maintenance strategy development.
- Proficiency in reliability modeling and simulation tools.
- Preferred experience in developing reliability program from the ground up.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and Implementation of Reliability Program:
- Design, layout, and implement a comprehensive reliability program tailored to our operations and equipment.
- Develop reliability policies, procedures, roles and responsibilities, and best practices to be integrated into daily operations.
- Implement the reliability program across all relevant departments, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Reliability Analysis and Improvement:
- Conduct detailed reliability analysis of systems and components, including assembly, testing, and machining operations.
- Identify and implement reliability improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reduce downtime.
- Develop and maintain reliability models and simulations to predict behavior and identify potential failure modes.
- Ensure all reliability-related activities and findings are thoroughly documented.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to reliability engineering.
- Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) & Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
- Lead FMEA sessions for assembly, test, and development operations to identify potential failure modes and their effects on equipment performance.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to mitigate identified risks in processes and equipment.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis of failures and develop corrective action plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Predictive Maintenance Testing
- Design, develop policies, processes and oversee reliability testing procedures, training, data analysis, including vibration analysis, infrared, ultrasonic, and other industry testing methods.
- Analyze test results and use the data to improve equipment reliability and system performance.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze reliability data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present detailed reliability reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Perform lifecycle analysis of systems and components to predict and improve their long-term reliability and performance.
