Department QAQC-CIVIL(Field)
Incumbent will be responsible for:
• Candidates should be well versed with Quality Plans, Inspection & Testing Plans, Quality Manuals
etc., Relevant Codes & Standards (IS, ASTM, etc.) for Civil construction activities.
• Concrete, Building Materials, Soil etc. of Solar plant.
• Review and confirm QAP/QCP of the EPC Contractors & Manufacturers.• Maintain QA/QC at the project site and report to the QA/QC Head on the issues related to non-
conformance & deficiencies in the quality management.• Inspection of Inward materials, Material Storage & handling, Material Installation and
Construction in all stages of Project execution.
• Shall have knowledge on concrete raw material testing, Hardened concrete testing ie.,
Compressive strength of cubes, RBH, UPVT, Core cutter test, Soil compaction testing.
• Knowledge on review/Deriving reinforcement quantity as per drawings.
• Knowledge to study the construction drawings to inspect the construction activities.
• Coordination & Supervision of all activities related to Laboratories & field tests
• Root Cause Analysis of Failure/Faults/Deficiencies of Equipment/Material/Services etc. and
prepare Lessons learnt related to Quality of Services and ensure corrective action in upcoming
projects.
• Developing team coordination to handle quality functions across the business including and
training programs.
• Prepare, implement and arrange Quality Awareness Programs for Projects at project locations.
• Monitoring of batching plant concrete supply activities and have knowledge on calibration of
plant as per IS Specification.
• Monitor the concrete pouring process, transit mixture movement and curing of the foundation.
• Conduct First Off (First time right job training), On Job trainings to workmen and contractors at
site related to their assigned activity.
• Issuing Non-Conformity Report (NCR) in specified format & verify the Closure given by
EPC/Contractors.
• Maintaining QA Documentation (Calibration reports, Test reports, Design Mix report, Etc.,).
• Prepare & Circulating of Dily Quality Report, OJT, First off record etc.,
• Monitoring of day-to-day Quality functions at site & ensure Continual improvements in the field.
• Monitor & Ensure Quality Deliverables are achieved by Team.
• Eliminating recurrence of Major/Critical NCR/Failures through Problem solving, RCA, CAPA.
• Organizing KOM’s(Kick off Meeting) with contractor in-charges prior start of activity at field.
• Prepare/Circulating MoM’s to QA HO & respective team post completion of meetings and
discussions with project team/Contractors/EPC.
• Prepare punch point list on identified observations and circulation od document to responsible
team for closure.Education,
