Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for manual and automated testing
- Develop and maintain UI automation test suites using C# and Selenium
- Create detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements, design, and user stories
- Execute regression, functional, integration, and usability tests
- Identify and report defects, perform root cause analysis, and track resolutions
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, product owners, and scrum teams throughout the SDLC
- Ensure traceability of requirements through test artifacts
- Participate in agile ceremonies and drive QA best practices
- Mentor junior QA engineers and assist in process improvements
- Conduct database testing using SQL queries for data validation and analysis
- Contribute to API and mobile testing initiatives (preferred but not required)
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on QA experience across web and backend testing
- Strong experience with UI automation using C# and Selenium (must-have)
- Solid knowledge of manual/functional testing and test strategy design
- Experience with SQL for data validation and analysis
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, ADO/TFS, ALM, etc.
- Expertise in both Agile and Waterfall development environments
- Solid troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills
- Verifiable experience with building and maintaining test automation frameworks
Nice-to-Have / Bonus Skills
- Experience with tools like TestComplete, UFT, or similar
- API testing experience using Postman, REST-assured, or similar tools
- Exposure to mobile testing
- Scripting knowledge in Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell
