Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer with expertise in TypeScript and Appium to join our Quality Assurance team in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust test automation frameworks, ensuring the highest level of quality in our mobile and web applications.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TypeScript and Appium for mobile (iOS/Android) testing.
 

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop test strategies.
 

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
 

Perform thorough regression, functional, integration, and UI testing.
 

Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
 

Analyze test results, debug issues, and provide detailed reports to the development team.
 

Continuously optimize testing strategies and automation coverage for faster releases.
 

Mentor junior QA engineers and help drive best practices across the team.
 

Required Skills:
 

Minimum 5 years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years working with Appium and TypeScript.
 

Strong experience in mobile automation testing (iOS and Android).
 

Proficiency in writing test scripts using TypeScript/JavaScript.
 

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
 

Experience with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
 

Familiarity with source control tools like Git.
 

Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
 

Strong analytical and debugging skills.
 

Preferred Skills:
 

Experience with tools like Playwright, WebDriverIO, or Selenium.
 

Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.
 

Knowledge of REST API testing using Postman or REST-assured.
 

Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus
