Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage detailed program scope, budget, and schedules aligned with organizational goals and leadership intent.

Perform critical path analysis using tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and cPlace.

Drive resolution of complex program issues using innovative methods, often in areas without established precedent.

Lead Configuration Change Boards (CCB) and ensure successful implementation of corrective actions.

Lead investigations and mitigations of program risks and issues.

Provide informal mentorship and guidance to junior or less experienced colleagues.

Present program updates regularly to senior and executive management.

Identify and coordinate necessary resources for cross-functional program teams.

Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and senior leadership.

Leverage internal and external best practices to improve processes, products, and services.

Maintain ownership of financial, timeline, and performance targets for assigned programs.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience (any one of the following combinations):

Master’s Degree with at least 6 years of technical project/program management experience, including 1 year of lead experience

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 years of technical project/program management experience, including 1 year of lead experience

No Degree with at least 10 years of technical project/program management experience, including 1 year of lead experience

Preferred:

12+ years of total experience in technical program/project management roles

Prior experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and global engineering or manufacturing environment

Familiarity with commercial vehicle, defense, or aerospace product development

Demonstrated success managing international and cross-functional teams
