Senior Power BI Developer

Roles & Responsibilities:

Power BI Development:

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Create and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Develop complex Power BI data models using Power Query and DAX to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting.
SQL Development and Data Integration:

Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.
Integrate data from multiple data sources, ensuring data consistency and quality.
Perform data cleansing and transformation to ensure the data used for reports is accurate and reliable.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and provide data-driven insights.
Collaborate with other teams (data engineers, analysts, etc.) to streamline data workflows and enhance reporting capabilities.
Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of Power BI solutions.
Performance Optimization:

Optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to ensure high performance and quick data loading.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data discrepancies or report performance.
Documentation and Best Practices:

Document Power BI solutions, including report development, data models, and integration processes.
Follow best practices for data visualization, ensuring consistency and clarity in reports and dashboards.

Experience Required:

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Power BI development and SQL.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and report/dashboard creation.
Expertise in SQL for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
Experience in integrating data from multiple sources into Power BI, including data warehousing and cloud platforms.
Knowledge of Power BI service features like publishing, sharing, and collaboration.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and relational database management systems (RDBMS).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other business intelligence tools or platforms (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) and their integration with Power BI.
Experience in data modeling and ETL processes.
Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques, such as machine learning or predictive analytics
