Senior Power BI Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Architect with over 10 years of experience in Power BI and related visualization technologies. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of data warehousing, strong SQL skills, and experience working with the Microsoft BI stack and Azure data services. This role requires the ability to design intuitive and high-performance dashboards, manage data integration workflows, and ensure effective data modeling and deployment practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize user-friendly reports and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring adherence to visualization best practices
• Work extensively with Power BI on Azure, including integration with SQL Databases, Blob Storage, and other data sources
• Build robust data models using Dimensional Data Modeling techniques to support business reporting needs
• Leverage strong SQL skills to create complex queries and manage data transformations efficiently
• Utilize Azure Data Factory, Data Lakes, and other Azure services to support data integration and processing
• Ensure effective Power BI security model implementation, performance tuning, and report deployment
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data models, mapping documents, and SQL objects
• Understand and analyze business processes and system relationships to deliver relevant insights and scalable solutions
• Hands-on experience in ETL tools such as Snowflake, Azure, or AWS is a strong plus
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior BI team members
