Senior Platform Consultant

• Automation & Orchestration:
  • Maintain configuration management using Helm for Kubernetes-based deployments, maintaining Helm charts for efficient application releases.
  • Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes & Docker, ensuring seamless deployment of monitoring components and infrastructure scaling.
• Incident Management & Troubleshooting: (Obs)
  • Actively monitor alerts and proactively resolve issues related to data collection, log ingestion, and system health.
  • Troubleshoot Grafana dashboard performance, Prometheus queries, and alert misconfigurations to optimize observability.
• Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:
  • Work closely with SAP teams to enable end-to-end observability, including instrumenting applications and infrastructure for monitoring.
  • Document configurations, and processes, and provide training to team members to ensure alignment and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

• Kubernetes, Helm & Container Orchestration:
  • Knowledge in managing Kubernetes clusters, including managing nodes, pods, and configurations.
  • Proficiency in Helm chart for Kubernetes applications.
• Automation & Scripting:
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python for automation and custom support.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools and best practices for continuous monitoring systems.
• Security & Compliance Awareness:
  • Awareness of access control, RBAC, and data security policies for monitoring tools and data privacy standards.
• Grafana & Visualization Mastery: (Consultant/DevOps)
  • Deep expertise in maintaining and customizing Grafana dashboards and panels with effective data visualization practices.
  • Familiarity with alerting mechanisms in Grafana and integration with other monitoring tools for seamless notifications
