Senior Next.js Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Next.js Developer to modernize a critical disease surveillance system supporting public health emergency responses. This role requires strong Next.js expertise, AWS cloud development, and DevOps skills to enhance system security, performance, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
Frontend Development – Build and optimize web applications using Next.js, React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Cloud & Backend Development – Integrate AWS services (Amplify, API Gateway, Cognito, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront).
DevOps & CI/CD – Implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and maintain source control with Git.
Security & Performance – Optimize performance, caching strategies, authentication (AWS Cognito), and monitoring (AWS CloudWatch).
Technical Leadership – Mentor developers, lead Agile development, and ensure CMMI Level 3 compliance.

Top Skills & Experience:
10+ years in IT Development.
8+ years using Next.js, React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS (MUST have strong Next.js experience).
8+ years developing AWS cloud-based applications.
8+ years working with Docker, Kubernetes, and Containerization.
8+ years utilizing AWS CloudWatch for monitoring & troubleshooting.
5+ years implementing Agile, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
5+ years designing and developing microservices.
