Senior Network Engineer

Minimum Years of Experience: 10 +

We are seeking two Network Engineer professionals to join our client's team in supporting Lab network deployment and operations across various high-impact locations. You’ll work directly with cross-functional teams and managed service providers (MSPs) on deployment, migrations, and troubleshooting of advanced routed and switched network infrastructures. An approximate split of focus will be 50% Project Management/execution and 50% technical, with emphasis on switched and routed networks.

Must-Have Skills:

Design, deploy, and operate large-scale networks

Network Operations and Deployment experience: Knowledge of IP, Transport, and CDN Networks Technologies and Service Management functions.

Technical knowledge of routers, switches, routing protocols, and circuit troubleshooting: Configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS).

Time management and program management skills: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a constrained time schedule.

Participate in on-call rotation for network support and maintenance.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Deep knowledge of various scripting languages: Experience with process improvement and systems development, leveraging automation to streamline repetitive workflows.

Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning models: Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their applications in network operations.

Experience with Optical Transport Network technologies: Knowledge of optical transport networks and their integration with IP networks.
