Define the network architecture that will achieve the goals of the program - creating the concrete technical artifacts that create clarity in the network architecture and technologies.
Work directly with stakeholders and owners in the Army to understand their requirements, constraints, risks, unknowns, and build the requisite relationships with technical and programmatic staff to drive success.
Drive relationships with partners and vendors that we are bringing to the network solution.
Work with the gov't and participate in exercises testing and evaluating the deployed network, designing improvements, and iterating towards successful outcomes.
Continuously iterate the network design and configuration based on performance metrics, user feedback and emerging mission demands.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting L2-L4 networking in DDIL environments.
Experience with MANET radios and mesh architectures, including their configuration and behavior under movement and terrain.
Ability to engage directly with customers at a technical and business level to drive successful outcomes
Understanding of multi-enclave security networks used by US DOD (e.g., SIPR, JWICS)
Experience in using Wireshark, iperf, tcpdump, and similar tools to diagnose live tactical network traffic and radio behavior.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Direct experience with Army tactical networks (or similar from other US military services)
Knowledge of Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks
Understanding of networking over different modalities, e.g., P2P LOS, cellular systems, SATCOM
Ability to script or automate network provisioning (e.g., Ansible, Bash, Python) to streamline fielding workflows
