WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Define the network architecture that will achieve the goals of the program - creating the concrete technical artifacts that create clarity in the network architecture and technologies.
  • Work directly with stakeholders and owners in the Army to understand their requirements, constraints, risks, unknowns, and build the requisite relationships with technical and programmatic staff to drive success.
  • Drive relationships with partners and vendors that we are bringing to the network solution.
  • Work with the gov't and participate in exercises testing and evaluating the deployed network, designing improvements, and iterating towards successful outcomes.
  • Continuously iterate the network design and configuration based on performance metrics, user feedback and emerging mission demands.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting L2-L4 networking in DDIL environments.
  • Experience with MANET radios and mesh architectures, including their configuration and behavior under movement and terrain.
  • Ability to engage directly with customers at a technical and business level to drive successful outcomes
  • Understanding of multi-enclave security networks used by US DOD (e.g., SIPR, JWICS)
  • Experience in using Wireshark, iperf, tcpdump, and similar tools to diagnose live tactical network traffic and radio behavior.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Direct experience with Army tactical networks (or similar from other US military services)
  • Knowledge of Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks
  • Understanding of networking over different modalities, e.g., P2P LOS, cellular systems, SATCOM
  • Ability to script or automate network provisioning (e.g., Ansible, Bash, Python) to streamline fielding workflows
