Senior Network Engineer

As the Senior Network Engineer, you will be critical in provisioning, deploying, configuring, and administering various network and security systems, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and network monitoring tools. You will be responsible for optimizing the organization’s network performance, ensuring security policies are enforced, and supporting the overall network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

· Network Design & Configuration: Design, configure, and maintain Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs) over Site-to-Site VPNs. Collaborate with network architects on network optimization projects.

· Network Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and minimize outages. Plan and schedule network upgrades as necessary to ensure maximum uptime.

· Network Security: Secure the network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining access controls, and ensuring compliance with security best practices.

· Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and related project details. Improve documentation as required.

· Reporting & Project Management: Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing network projects to completion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives.

· Professional Development: Stay up to date on industry trends, technologies, and best practices through continuous education, professional publications, and participation in relevant networks and professional organizations.

Key Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or related field.

· Experience: 10+ years of experience in network design and implementation, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and network hardware configuration
