Key Responsibilities:
· Network Design & Configuration: Design, configure, and maintain Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs) over Site-to-Site VPNs. Collaborate with network architects on network optimization projects.
· Network Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and minimize outages. Plan and schedule network upgrades as necessary to ensure maximum uptime.
· Network Security: Secure the network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining access controls, and ensuring compliance with security best practices.
· Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and related project details. Improve documentation as required.
· Reporting & Project Management: Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing network projects to completion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives.
