Technical/Functional Skills 

• Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the DNS on Infoblox.

• Candidate should know everything about the A record, CNAME record and how to point the one DNS name to the other.

• Candidate should have knowledge of the global DNS as well as internal DNS and how both should work internally and externally.

• Candidate should know how to add a new Network inside the Infoblox.

• Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of how the DHCP works and should know how the DHCP migration is implemented without any impact on the production environment.

• Candidates should know about the IPAM inside the Infoblox and how it works.

• Candidate should know how to make authoritative zones and forward zones.

• Candidate should know how to make the IP as static inside the Infoblox.

• Complex routing and switching

• VPN

• Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Meraki)

• QoS understanding and configuration – Routers and Switches

• Routing Protocols : BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Static

• WAN architectures: Legacy e.g MPLS, Metro Ethernet and trending ones like: SDWAN, advanced VPN methods

• Has experience in Cisco/Aruba/Meraki wireless technologies.

• Understands IOT standards and is capable of deploying on prem solutions

• Ansible playbook

  • • Planning and co-ordination related to work window scheduling with CAB approvals
