Qualifications

  • Must have 10+ years of proven experience designing, deploying, and managing large-scale BlueCat DDI (DNS, DHCP and IPAM), project delivery with focus on performance optimization and scalability.
  • Deep understanding of network architecture designs with In-depth knowledge of DNS, NTP, IPAM, BIND, and DHCP.
  • Knowledge on network management and monitoring platforms
  • Recommend network improvements, including cost/benefit analysis, to meet changing business requirements.
  • BlueCat DDI Platform Certifications are required.
  • Network Automation (Ansible, Python, etc.) a plus.
  • Sharp troubleshooting faculties, deductive reasoning, and careful attention to detail.
  • Independent and self-directed work ethic when participating in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written to develop technical documentation
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to perform under pressure and detail oriented
  • Dedicated commitment to service availability and quality user experience.
  • Must be results driven with a strong sense of urgency


Responsibilities

  • Design and architecture of a global BlueCat DDI network infrastructure
  • Lead architect responsible for designing, developing, and managing a large and complex deployment of DNS, DHCP and IPAM infrastructure to meet the organizations business needs
  • Responsible for managing address allocations and integrity of the data in the IPAM, ARIN, RIPE, and Domain Registrars
  • Development of service and technology standards across the network footprint
  • Partner with vendors to select appropriate technical solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop consensus, drive results, and execute projects across the organization on time and within budget
  • Manage several simultaneous projects from conception through implementation
  • Develop and maintain standards and designs for DDI network infrastructure and global IP registrars.
  • Articulate design rationale, flexibly adapt solutions, and iterate designs when required
  • Work closely with senior management, and network engineering and operations teams
  • Enhances efficiency via automation when and wherever possible
  • Act as an escalation engineer for high severity network related production issues, work with engineers and various vendors to identify tactical and strategic solutions.
