Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for support of the .Net application and the LIMS API using ASP.Net and Oracle skills.
  • Assist internal users with STARLIMS application.
  • Provide technical assistance for outbound HL7 messages to CDC, D-REX and PHINMS using the Rhapsody application.
  • Collaborate/ Handle configuration management activities like Source control and Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment.
  • Create data extracts for insurance billing, institutional billing, and grant requirements.
  • Work with program area team on technical issues including system design and testing.

Required Skills

  • Microsoft .NET frameworks – 4.5, 4.0, 3.5, 3.0, 2.0, 1.1, 1.0.
  • Senior knowledge of Visual Studio – 2013/2012/2010/2008/2005/2003/2002.
  • Web Application Development ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC 5/4/3.
  • Data Access – ADO.NET and Entity Framework 6/5/4/3.
  • Web Services Stack – WCF with REST API and ASP.NET Web API.
  • Logging Frameworks – Common Logging, log4net, Microsoft Logging Block.
  • JavaScript UI Frameworks: AngularJS, Knockout.js, Boot Strap (Added advantage).
  • Modelling Tools – Enterprise Architect, Visual Studio Ultimate and Microsoft Visio.
  • Unit Testing Frameworks – NUnit, xUnit.net, and Visual Studio Test.
  • SQL Server SQL Server Integration Services SSIS and Reporting Services SSRS.

Required Experience

  • Experience with LIMS and STARLIMS applications preferred.
  • Experience in analysis and addressing security related issues for applications built in multiple languages.
  • Current working experience with Web Services.
  • Experience in Healthcare Industry is a plus.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
