Job Description:  As a technical member of the digital transformation team, candidate will take direction from Architect and Project Lead(s) on development and platform activities.

Also, should have experience leading teams – onshore/offshore.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the migrating Gateway API solutions (integrations/solutions) to MuleSoft.

Adhering to defined standards of API management and delivery as defined by the API Lead Architect.

Responsible for troubleshooting any issues reported with the environment or solution/integration.

Understand integration Architecture concepts and patterns, including Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, Batch Integration, etc.

 

Skills Required:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field required, Master’s degree preferred

9+ years of integration experience.

At least 3+ years of that in Hybrid and SaaS Environments.

3+ years of hands-on experience in API management platforms, such as Layer 7 and MuleSoft AnyPoint / CloudHub Integration tools.

Experience with activities such as: requirement analysis, solution architecture and design, building API policies and assertions.

Strong Hands-On Integration development and support experience with excellent problem-solving skills in MuleSoft with 1+ Year in Mule 4.2+ and API Management areas including but not limited to Any point Platform, Flow Design, API Design. Data weave, Cloud Hub, Runtime Fabric, API Management.

4+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft API development and operationalizing projects.

In-depth knowledge of JSON, JWT, and JWKS and their underlying specifications.

Understanding of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance.

Experience with platform configuration – MuleSoft Analytics, Error/Exception Handling, setting up Okta/IDP, MuleSoft policies, Platform/API Problem analysis/Support Triage, Best practices.

Experience with RESTful architecture principles and their applicability, and foundational skills like J2EE, XML, SOAP, JSON, Web Services, AMQP/JMS.

Experience working on MuleSoft connectivity (VPN, VPC Peering, others), API Management, API Policies, load balancer configurations, monitoring dashboards, alerts and troubleshooting alerts / policy violations

Hands-on experience with CI/CD and code versioning tools.

Have a solid understanding of the MuleSoft exception-handling and logging capabilities and integrate those concepts into solution design.

Knowledge of Postman, curl commands, HTTP, TCP/IP, load balancing, AWS services, and security.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to own and drive things to closure.

Skills Desired:

MuleSoft Developer, Architecture and Operations certifications is a plus.

Applied experience with Container Orchestration, Configuration Management tools, Infrastructure as Code a plus

Certifications related to API, DevOps and Security is a plus
