Description

  • Design, develop, and optimize large and complex SQL Server database schemas, scripts, and objects.
  • Analyze and translate complex business needs into effective data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams to resolve data-related technical issues.
  • Work closely with application developers and business teams to ensure successful design and delivery of data solutions.
  • Implement and refine processes and procedures for high-quality, rapid product/project deployment.
  • Ensure data integrity and participate in code reviews to validate code quality and effectiveness.
  • Liaise with developers to improve applications, establish best practices, and publish technical documentation.
  • Perform performance tuning and optimization of queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in high-volume environments (500M+ new records/day).
  • Utilize SQL Server 2016 or above, with hands-on experience in SSIS and SSRS.
  • Monitor and tune complex ETL jobs, and potentially use third-party performance tools.
  • Maintain audit/compliance standards in regulated environments.
  • Use tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, Power BI, and Git in development lifecycle.
  • Apply continual improvement processes and support Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Leverage experience with Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo) and Red Gate tools as a plus.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Prefer candidates with healthcare domain experience and advanced degrees (BS required, MS preferred).
