Job Title: Senior Linux Administrator with Ansible 
Location: Within 2-hour radius of Woodlawn, MD 
Duration: Long Term Contract
Client: CGI Federal

Key Required Skills: Linux Administration, Ansible, AWS Cloud 

Job Description: 
·        Support the Linux environment for the database team. 
·        Development of user documentation and guidelines. 
·        Development of presentation material. 
·        Investigate, collaborate, and resolve production jobs and job failures. 
·        Support weekend maintenance activities to apply changes during non-peak hours. 
·        Provide input to continuous improvement of Linux Administration and Support. 

Foundations for Success (Basic Qualifications): 
·        Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field 
·        7+ years of experience with Linux Administration 
·        Master’s or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience. 

Factors to Help You Shine (Required Skills): 
·        Excellent communication and written skills. 
·        Proficiency in Linux Patching/upgrading. 
·        Proficiency with Linux commands and shell scripting 
·        Proficiency with Linux troubleshooting 
·        Proficiency with Ansible and Ansible Tower 
·        Proficiency in High Availability and Disaster Recovery 
·        Proficiency in Linux Performance Tuning 

How to Stand Out from the Crowd (Desired Skills) 
·        Solid working knowledge of AWS 
·        Experience supporting databases running on Linux. 
·        Experience with working with Federal Government clients 

Education and Other Qualifications: 
·        Master's degree and 5+ years of experience in a training-related field or 
·        Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in a training-related field 
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
