Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management: Define and manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk, resources, and quality for wealth management project deliverables.
- Manage various project streams, as part of overall program delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including various executives, subject matter experts, and business, operations, and technology groups, to ensure successful project deliverables and overall delivery.
- Communication: Create presentation material for variance governance meetings, and lead/facilitate monthly steering committee, program operating group, and weekly vendor meetings.
- Provide regular project updates and status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring effective governance and reporting processes.
- Solution Implementation: Lead the implementation of wealth management platforms, overseeing customization, testing, and business validation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or business. PMP and CSM certifications are required.
Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the financial services or banking sector.
Skills:
- Project Management: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile development, Jira, and Confluence.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Analytical: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business rules and processes.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams, with strong organizational, prioritization, and negotiation skills.
Must Have Skills:
- PMP, Certified Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
- Extensive experience in both business and technology capacities.
- Proven effective project leadership leading teams and stakeholders as large as 50.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
- Proven experience delivering projects using various methodologies and contexts, including Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Project Management Framework (PMF), Project Life Cycle (PLC), System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile / SCRUM.
Good to Have Skills:
- Experience creating training material and training end-users on new systems.
- Creating vendor contracts.
- Experience communicating with regulatory bodies and industry partners
