Lead and manage the Workday integration workstream for URI’s Workday implementation, including team oversight, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of integrations between Workday, PeopleSoft, and other URI enterprise applications.
Establish integration strategy, architecture, standards, and best practices aligned with URI’s business objectives.
Collaborate with URI business, functional, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust integration solutions.
Provide technical direction, coaching, and mentoring to integration developers and analysts.
Ensure integration deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Oversee issue resolution, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of integration solutions.
Manage project risks, dependencies, and change requests within the integration workstream.
Deliver regular status reports and updates to URI project leadership.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
7+ years of experience with enterprise system integration, including at least 3 years leading Workday integration projects.
Deep expertise in Workday integration technologies (EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, web services, REST/SOAP APIs).
In-depth experience with PeopleSoft data structures, integration frameworks, and data exchange methods.
Prior experience managing and mentoring technical integration teams.
Strong project management skills, including budget and schedule oversight.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Proven track record of delivering complex integration solutions in large-scale environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with higher education data and business processes.
Prior Workday and/or PeopleSoft certification(s).
Experience integrating Workday with a variety of third-party and enterprise applications
