We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Information Security Analyst to lead our organization’s information security operations.
This role is critical in protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for driving security best practices in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily security operations, including threat monitoring, detection, and incident response.
- Implement and manage security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Analyze security logs and alerts, escalate and respond to incidents as required.
- Oversee vulnerability assessments and penetration testing efforts.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and investigate security incidents.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate robust security controls into existing systems.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., FFIEC, NCUA, GLBA).
- Mentor and guide junior security analysts and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Several years of relevant experience in information security roles.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft systems administration (Active Directory, M365/O365, Azure).
- Extensive knowledge of security technologies and frameworks, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, NIST, and PCI DSS.
- Proficiency in threat analysis, incident response, and risk management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC.
- Experience in the credit union or financial services industry.
- Experience balancing regulatory requirements with practical implementation of security measures
