Position: Senior Google Cloud Architect 

Location: USA(Remote role )

Duration: 6 Months

Visa: No OPT/CPT.

Job Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities 

Cloud Solution Architecture: 

• Design and architect enterprise-level solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring alignment with business requirements, scalability, and best practices. 

• Develop detailed architectural blueprints for complex cloud environments, including hybrid and multi[1]cloud solutions. 

• Guide the selection and implementation of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions. 

2. Technical Leadership: 

• Act as the primary technical advisor for GCP-related projects, providing mentorship to engineering teams and stakeholders. 

• Lead cloud migrations, modernizations, and greenfield implementations from inception to completion. 

• Ensure security, compliance, and governance protocols are embedded in cloud architectures. 

3. Performance Optimization: 

• Monitor and optimize GCP environments for cost efficiency, performance, and reliability. 

• Conduct regular reviews and audits of existing architectures to identify opportunities for improvement. 

4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Partner with business units, developers, and operations teams to understand objectives and translate them into actionable cloud strategies. 

• Present complex cloud solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. 

• Collaborate with Google Cloud engineers and third-party vendors to deliver robust solutions. 

5. Innovation and Best Practices: 

• Stay updated with emerging GCP technologies and industry trends. 

• Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and guidelines for cloud architecture and development. 

• Experiment with new GCP features and tools to evaluate potential business benefits. 

Required Qualifications: 

Technical Expertise: 

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering, with at least 5 years in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). 

• Proven expertise in GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Cloud Monitoring. 

• Strong understanding of cloud-native application architectures, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and microservices. 

2. Certifications: 

• Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer are highly preferred. 

3. Development and Scripting Skills: 

• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages like Python, Go, or Java. 

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager. 

4. Security and Compliance: 

• Deep knowledge of cloud security principles, including encryption, identity management, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). 

5. Leadership and Communication: 

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and projects. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership. 

6. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: 

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting and performance tuning complex systems. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments. 

• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitOps) and CI/CD pipelines.
