Senior ETL Developer

Job Description:

The client seeks a Senior ETL Developer to design, implement, and support cloud-based data integrations for their Enterprise Data Asset program. The role involves developing ETL processes, building data warehousing solutions, and optimizing data pipelines for reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ETL processes and cloud-based data integration solutions.
• Support data warehouse schema design and development of Data Marts.
• Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to optimize table structures for reporting.
• Work with Data Modelers and Architects to refine business data requirements.
• Utilize Agile methodologies in project execution.

Required Skills:

• ETL Development: Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, IBM DataStage, SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), T-SQL, Azure SQL Database.
• Cloud Platforms: Azure Synapse, Data Lake Store, Azure Blob Storage, Snowflake.
• Data Warehousing: Strong understanding of Kimball and Inmon architectures.
• Data Modeling: Advanced knowledge in dimensional modeling, spatial data integration, and database design.
• Programming: Python, Linux Shell scripting, Windows scripting.
• Tools: Power BI, Tableau, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

Preferred:

• Snowflake experience: 5+ years.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
