Senior ETL Developer Lead - DataHub / InfoCenter

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior ETL Lead & Developer with Guidewire DataHub/InfoCenter expertise to join our team. This role requires a strong technical background in ETL development, data integration, and insurance domain knowledge to support enterprise data solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP Data Services, Oracle databases, and Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.

As a Senior ETL Lead, you will guide and mentor junior developers, work independently with customers, and drive the design, development, and implementation of data integration solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data into Guidewire DataHub and InfoCenter while adhering to best practices and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical lead for the ETL development team, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
• Work independently with customers to understand data requirements, design ETL solutions, and ensure seamless data migration and integration.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines using SAP Data Services, integrating data from multiple sources into Guidewire DataHub/InfoCenter.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and accuracy in data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and insurance domain experts to define and implement data models and reporting solutions.
• Perform data analysis, data cleansing, and transformation to ensure quality and consistency across systems.
• Support data warehouse solutions, ensuring compliance with enterprise data governance policies.
• Troubleshoot ETL job failures, performance bottlenecks, and integration issues with Oracle databases.
• Document ETL workflows, data mappings, and transformation rules to support ongoing development and maintenance.
• Work closely with Guidewire InsuranceSuite teams to ensure seamless integration between PolicyCenter (PC), BillingCenter (BC), ClaimCenter (CC), and ContactManager (CM).

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in ETL development, with a focus on Guidewire DataHub/InfoCenter.
• Guidewire Certified DataHub/InfoCenter Developer (latest releases preferred).
• Strong expertise in SAP Data Services ETL tool.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases, including SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, and data modeling.
• Experience with Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance data models and workflows.
• 2-3 full lifecycle implementations of Guidewire DataHub/InfoCenter for insurance customers.
• Strong understanding of Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PC, CC, BC, CM) and integration patterns.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor junior team members and engage with customers independently.
• Ability to analyze, design, and implement scalable ETL solutions for enterprise-level data management.
