JOB QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education:

•             Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent.

•             Preferred Architecture Certification: TOGAF, ARCHIMATE, ZACHMAN, or equivalent.

Experience:

•             More than 15 years IT Experience

•             More than 8 years experience within Cloud Architecture Role and at least 3 years technical leadership experience

•             Recent experience within Architecture, Design and implementation of complex, highly available and scalable solutions

•             More than 3 years experience with migrating datacenters workloads towards Azure and/or AWS.

•             Cloud Computing

•             Containerization

•             Cloud Services and Data Storage

•             Information Security

•             AI use cases

•             Cloud Networking

•             Enterprise-wide Architectural governance, architecture decisions, exceptions, standards etc

•             Development of complex business cases

•             ITIL Service Life Cycle

our client requires Senior Enterprise Architects to have technical depth and breadth across multiple technical domains.  The candidate is required to be a specialist in the field of Public Cloud Domain, can engage and work with Cloud Operation managers, Platform Engineering and Platform Architecture leads and technical SMEs from domains such as networking and security.

Senior Enterprise Architect’s primary focus is to deliver a end-to-end solutions against the scope defined within a program guidelines and timelines.  S/he is required to capture set of business requirements, analyze them and then advise on fit-for-purpose solutions. 

The candidate will oversees the delivery of all required documentation artifacts and will ensure solutions will be presented to GBS Architecture and Engineering boards, to ensure the proposed end-to-end solution architecture delivers GBS strategic intent and ensures we leverage any pre-defined service within our service catalogue.

Additionally, Senior Enterprise Architect will also publish technology evaluations, reusable patterns for latest technology trends such as Containerization, AI adaptation, cloud services usage and optimization and finally, infrastructure as a code.
