Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Embedded Systems Architect (with around 12+ years of experience) to join our team who can bridge between Technology and Business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in the medical/healthcare domain. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong services company mindset, capable of driving pre-sales, proposals, solutioning and architecture. The candidate should also excel in team building, idea generation, customer focus and innovation.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of embedded systems solutions in MedTech domain.
  • Drive pre-sales activities, including proposals, solutioning, and customer presentations.
  • Develop and implement innovative embedded systems architectures for both greenfield and brownfield projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of embedded systems.
  • Mentor and guide team members on best practices in embedded systems design and development.
  • Support in hiring key architects and leads to build a strong Embedded team. 
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in embedded systems technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Generate new ideas and approaches to enhance the company's embedded systems offerings.

 

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • Extensive experience in embedded systems architecture and design.
  • Expertise in materialising idea to product, capable of envisaging post-deployment scenarios.
  • Strong background in both greenfield and brownfield projects.
  • Excellent pre-sales, proposal, and solutioning skills.
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems development life cycle, security practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Python/scripting.
  • Experience with bare-metal firmware, real-time operating systems (RTOS), Embedded Linux, BSPs & drivers and Embedded software applications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Customer-focused with a strong services company mindset.

 

Good to have Skills:

  • Experience with medical imaging systems (CT, MR, X-ray, Ultrasound) or patient monitoring devices.
  • Familiarity with healthcare standards such as DICOM, HL7, and FDA/CE regulatory processes.
  • Experience with IoT and modern connectivity solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms & services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and AI.
  • Familiarity with hardware design and development.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Certification in embedded systems or related fields.
  • Cross-industry experience in embedded systems architecture.

Qualification:

  • M.E./M. Tech (Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent) with minimum 12 Years of relevant experience.
  • B.E./B. Tech (Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent) with minimum 14 Years of relevant experience
