Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer with one of Stefanini's prestigious client, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment processes. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery. Your expertise in AWS, Terraform, .Net, Kubernetes, scripting, automation, Jenkins, Agile methodologies, and Jira will be essential in optimizing our DevOps workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
• Build and deploy applications using the .Net framework.
• Manage containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.
• Drive Agile practices and ensure effective use of Jira for project management and tracking.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continuously improving our DevOps processes.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Build out a new production environment for our product Asset Essentials in AWS GovCloud.
• Ensure the environment complies with GovCloud standards and is isolated from client's other environments, tooling, processes, and network.
• Implement security measures and compliance protocols specific to AWS GovCloud.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Automate deployment and management processes to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs

Technical Skills Required:

• Extensive experience with AWS, including AWS GovCloud.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with building and deploying applications using the .Net framework.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with automation tools and practices.
• Proficiency in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Jira for project management.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards, particularly related to AWS GovCloud.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Extensive experience with AWS, Terraform, .Net, Kubernetes, scripting, automation, Jenkins, Agile methodologies, and Jira.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
