Role name:Senior DevOps Engineer
Role Description:We are looking for a passionate candidate to join our SAP SuccessFactors transformation team tohelp design, develop, and maintain HANA (SAP propriaty database) cloud environments. Thetransformation engineering team is responsible for managing all the engineering environmentslocated in 3 geographical locations. The team helps improve developer productivity andoperational efficiency by developing cutting-edge DevOps tools.What you ?ll do:? Design, develop, test, automate, and deliver HANA cloud features.? Build self service tools to manage tenants on HANA cloud.? Research and implement feature parity between on premises HANA and HANA cloud.? Ensure 24/7 service availability and service quality for all HANA nodes.? Work on topics for the technical execution of the delivery architecture and contribute to cloudenablement efforts.? Support and drive HANA cloud adoption in engineering organization.? Work with core HANA cloud team on issues in cloud adoption? Advise project stakeholders and customers regarding new HANA cloud featureniversity degree (BE, MSc.) in Computer Science or a related subject with 7-9 years ofexperience.? Strong expertise in Hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud, and SAP Converged Cloud.? Strong expertise in containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, Jenkins, Linux programming,Database management, Hashicorp tools, and similar services? Experience with various deployment methodologies like green-blue / canary deployment etc.? Experience in pipeline-based deployment ? conversant with CI tools like Git, SVN, Jenkins, etc.? Strong experience in programming languages such as Java, Groovy, Python, or Go.?
