Senior Data Visualization Analyst

Responsibilities
Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to support business insights and operational efficiency.
Gather requirements from stakeholders to create data visualizations that communicate key metrics and trends effectively.
Work with large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and governance.
Optimize data models and queries to enhance dashboard performance and usability.
Automate data extraction, transformation, and visualization workflows using SQL, Python, and cloud-based tools like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse.
Implement best practices for data storytelling, ensuring clarity and usability in reports tailored for non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify insights, detect trends, and recommend strategic actions.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide ad hoc analysis to support decision-making.
 

Qualifications
5+ years of experience in data visualization, analytics, or business intelligence roles.
Strong expertise in Power BI, and nice to have experience with Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio, with the ability to create compelling visual narratives.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data from relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
Strong ability to work with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) is highly desirable.
Databricks certification (Data Analyst) is a plus.
Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and dashboard performance optimization.
Ability to communicate insights effectively directly to clients and end users to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
