Senior Data Steward

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Steward to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring 5-10+ years of expertise in Data Governance and Data Management, with a strong background in working within global Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies or similar industries. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of data processes, governance policies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Governance and Management

Lead initiatives to standardize operational information across the organization

Define and implement enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures

Partner with business and technical teams to ensure proper data ingestion, usage, quality, and stewardship

Monitor and maintain the quality of data assets
Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and compliant with organizational standards

Work closely with subject matter experts to align data governance practices with business needs

Support data-related decision-making processes across departments

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in data management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field

5-10+ years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management within a global CPG company or similar industry

Strong understanding of data processes, data quality standards, and governance frameworks

Hands-on experience with SQL, Axon, PO, invoice data, accounts payable, SAP systems, and procurement tools

Preferred experience with advanced SAP modules (SAP S/4 HANA, SAP MDG) and Informatica tools

Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
