Senior Data Migration Specialist

Analyze business requirements, assess alternative solutions, design, develop and implement application code/fixes as required for a successful migration solution.
Provide analysis for highly complex programs; formulate logic for key migration activities including the extraction, conversion and ingestion into FileNet. Responsible for proof of concept using data sampling and provide repeatable data transformations.
Provide data driven reports to verify quality and quantity of imported data.
Provide timely and accurate testing, validation and reconciliation reports. Provide summary and plan of action for any irregularities found.
Provide and maintain the migration schedule, including the migration timeline, testing plan and reconciliation plan.
Provide technical deliverables, project status updates and completion information to managers and/or users.
Provides analysis of problems and recommends solutions.
Consult with team to create data maps to match source data to destination data and create field level mapping and to document where data transformations need to be created.
Document work processes and manage internal teams and partners on tools or new features as they are developed.
Prioritize and resolve immediate technical issues.
Flexible and willing to work after hours or on weekends for urgent migration tasks

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in data analytics and problem solving, development, data migrations and/or working with Enterprise Content Management application repositories
4+ years of experience with Db2 and/or Microsoft SQL Server
3+ years of experience in data extraction/transformation/migration and load processes
2+ years of experience with .net core, angular, Telerik, angular, bootstrap, entity framework, API services, CSS and html5
