Develop and execute a comprehensive data governance platform program roadmap aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements, leveraging Informatica on-premise platform.
Provide strategic direction and leadership for all project data governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall data strategy.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the data governance program and report on progress to senior management.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with data governance initiatives, proactively addressing potential challenges.
Informatica Platform Management:
Oversee the ongoing management, maintenance, and optimization of the Informatica on-premise data governance stack (e.g., Informatica Data Quality, Informatica Metadata Manager, Informatica Axon, DSP (Privitar).
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the platform's stability, scalability, and performance.
Drive the adoption of best practices for utilizing Informatica tools to achieve data governance objectives.
Data Governance Implementation & Adoption:
Drive the adoption of data governance tools and processes through effective communication, training, and change management.
Work closely with data owners, data stewards, and business stakeholders to define and implement data quality rules and metadata standards.
Establish and maintain a robust data lineage and data dictionary.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and program progress to non-technical audiences.
Present data governance program updates and recommendations to executive leadership.
Chair governance meetings, and provide clear and concise reports.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure data governance practices comply with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., NDMO, PDPL)
Conduct regular data risk assessments and implement appropriate controls.
Develop and maintain data governance documentation and audit trails.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
Extensive experience (15+ years) in data governance, data management, or related fields.
Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale data governance programs, particularly with Informatica on-premise solutions.
Deep understanding of Informatica's suite of data governance tools and their implementation.
Strong knowledge of data governance principles, best practices, and industry standards.
Excellent program management skills, including experience with project planning, risk management, and stakeholder management.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to senior management.
Experience with data quality management, metadata management, and data lineage.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., NDMO,PDPL).
Experience managing on premise infrastructure related to informatica products.
