Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, ETL processes, and PySpark.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data availability and quality.
- Implement and manage data warehousing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Optimize and enhance data processing workflows to improve efficiency and performance.
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline issues and failures in a timely manner.
- Continuously explore and evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance data engineering practices.
