Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join the Data Platform Engineering team supporting the Unified Data Platform (UDP) implementation. This role demands hands-on expertise in DBT, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, and PySpark, along with a strong understanding of modern data platform practices including CI/CD, observability, and data quality. Candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines that feed critical analytics and MDM solutions across multiple business units. While the role is platform agnostic, current needs are focused on BigQuery pipelines and DBT-based transformation workflows

Must-Have Skills: 

● 8–12years of experience in data engineering roles. 

● Strong experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) and Google Data form. 

● Advanced SQL development and optimization skills (esp. in BigQuery). 

● Hands-on experience with GCP services for data engineering. 

● Good experience with PySpark/Spark SQL for transformation workloads. 

● Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile delivery methods. 

● Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional engineering environments.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
