Senior Cyber Security Advisor

Position: Senior Advisor – Cyber Security
Number of Positions: 1
Work Mode: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

Lead major InfoSec projects and ensure alignment with industry standards

Mentor junior team members and conduct security training

Collaborate with vendors and consultants for security initiatives

Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and drive risk mitigation

Conduct vulnerability scans and ensure timely remediation

Act as SME and thought leader across InfoSec disciplines

Provide support and guidance on complex cybersecurity issues

Qualifications:

Strong grasp of cybersecurity standards, tools, and best practices

Hands-on with SIEM, EDR, WAF, identity & threat protection, etc.

Experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS platforms

Knowledge of cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-prem (VMware) security

Network protocol understanding and log analysis skills

Strong project leadership and vendor management experience

Effective communication and incident response skills

Experience with IIS/Kubernetes log analysis

Preferred Skills:

Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.)

Scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), API integration

Active involvement in cybersecurity communities
