Job Title: Senior Could Search Engineer
Location: Washington, D.C. or Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract

·        AWS ElastiCache              P4 – Expert
·        AWS Architecture           P3 - Advanced

Role Description: 
Use your knowledge of ElasticSearch / OpenSearch to lead the data migration of the client on-prem Apache Solr search platform to AWS Opensearch. Responsibilities include
·        Develop data migration plan
·        Design and setup OpenSearch service on AWS based on review of client's current on-prem setup and future requirements
·        Work with other developers on the team to assist with development of opensearch API's
·        Lead all aspects of development of the OpenSearch capability including relevance tuning and performance tuning
·        Ensure Cloud orchestration and automation capability is operating based on target SLAs with minimal downtime. 

Minimum requirements
·        Experience with ElasticSearch / OpenSearch or Solr for 2+ years
·        Lucene development experience or other low level inverted indexes is recommended
·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
·        Experience with cloud formation scripts
