Senior Conversation Bot Engineer

Essential Skills:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in chatbots and natural language processing

• Experience in working with any AI/NLP platform (DialogFlow/ Alexa/ Converse.ai/ Amazon Lex

etc.) for building chatbots Experience with any one of the technologies (JavaScript, Node.js or

Python)

• Good understanding of training classical Machine learning algorithms along with an

understanding of choosing the right evaluation metric

• Ability to use pre-trained models and fine-tune them if required

• Experience with HTTP, Sockets, REST and other web services

• Perform keyword and topic extraction from chat logs

• Solid knowledge of training and tuning topic modelling algorithms like LDA and NMF

• Experience in training chatbots by analyzing historical chat conversations or large amounts of

user-generated content and process data

• Hands-on experience using frameworks like nltk and spacy

• Ability to write regular expressions for data cleaning and preprocessing

• Practical knowledge of formal syntax, formal semantics, corpus analysis, dialogue

management

• Strong written communication skills

• Ability to learn the latest technologies

• Good problem-solving ability

Nice to have skills:

• Understanding of conversational UI, voiced-based processing (text to speech, speech to text)

and voice apps built on Amazon Alexa or Google Home are a plus

• Experience in Test Driven Development & Agile methodologies

• Experience with configuring, supporting and integrating various software systems, APIs, etc.

• Should have knowledge of creating an end-to-end pipeline for the development of AI-based

conversational applications

• Perform text mining, generate and test working hypotheses, prepare and analyze historical

data and identify patterns

• Ability to write regular expressions for data cleaning and preprocessing

• Understanding of API integrations, Single-Sign-on and token-based authentication

• Develop unit test cases as per project-specific standards

• Self-starter with a drive to technically mentor your cohort of machine learning engineers

• Experience working with scalable, high-performance systems
