Senior Cloud Network Specialist

MSR Technology Group is seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Network Specialist to join our client’s 6+ month long project in Kansas City, MO. This role involves maintaining and optimizing our multi-cloud network infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and efficiency. Onsite work is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage networks on Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI.
• Network Configuration: Set up virtual networks, subnets, security groups, VPCs, VNETs, and cloud peering services.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze and resolve cloud network issues to ensure high availability.
• Integration: Develop architecture for seamless connectivity between on-premises and cloud services.
• Support: Provide technical assistance for cloud-related network issues and collaborate with IT teams.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (8 years experience), Associate’s degree (10 years experience), or High School degree (12 years experience) in computer science or related field.
• Certifications: Azure Fundamentals, Azure Network Engineer, AWS Cloud Practitioner (preferred).
• Experience: Significant experience with Azure, Terraform, network security practices, and multi-cloud connectivity.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities. On-call availability required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-Cloud Expertise: Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI.
• Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with LAN, WAN, wireless networks, SD-WAN, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and enterprise DNS solutions.
• Certifications: CCNA, CWNA.

Technical Proficiency: In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, Cisco, Meraki, and network automation tools
