Senior Cloud ETL Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior ETL Developer to support enterprise-level data initiatives by designing and developing cloud-based data pipelines, integrations, and warehousing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading into the data warehouse.
• Implement cloud-based data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and related tools.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to build optimized data structures for reporting and analytics.
• Design and maintain Data Warehouse (DW) schemas and Data Marts.
• Work alongside data architects and modelers to define and refine data requirements.
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability in data integration solutions.
• Follow Agile methodologies in project execution.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (Kimball, Inmon).
• Experience with both structured and unstructured data sources.

Required Technical Skills:

• ETL Tools: Azure Data Factory v2, IBM DataStage
• Cloud Platforms: Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Data Warehouse
• Databases: SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), Oracle, T-SQL
• DatabasesTools: Erwin
• Languages/Scripting: Python, XML, Windows/Linux Shell scripting
• BI Tools: Power BI, Tableau
• Other: MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS TFS

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Snowflake (minimum 5 years preferred)
• Experience in ingesting spatial data
• Advanced understanding of cloud engineering (Azure)

Required Experience:

• Minimum 10 years in the following:
• ETL Development & Data Integration
• Data Warehouse design and support
• Collaboration with business users for data modeling
• Cloud data solutions using Azure technologies
