We are in search of a Senior Cloud Engineer/ Technical Sales Engineer with a robust technical background in cloud and related technologies, software, and SaaS platforms, specifically tailored for the Latin American (LATAM) market. This position is vital for our expansion in LATAM, focusing on technically guiding our clients to understand how Matilda Cloud’s solutions address their unique challenges and deliver value. The ideal candidate will be proficient in engaging with technical and business stakeholders in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, offering extensive technical sales support and crafting customized solutions that align with client requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients in the LATAM region, showcasing deep knowledge in cloud technologies, software, and SaaS platforms.

Work alongside the sales team to gather customer requirements and devise effective technical strategies that address the specific needs of the LATAM market.

Design and conduct tailored demonstrations of Matilda Cloud solutions, emphasizing their benefits and alignment with customer challenges.

Offer comprehensive technical consultations throughout the sales cycle, overcoming technical obstacles and ensuring our solutions meet client expectations.

Lead technical training sessions and workshops for clients and the sales team, enhancing their understanding of cloud computing and the value proposition of Matilda Cloud’s offerings.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and competitive solutions, applying this knowledge to refine sales strategies and solutions.

Develop technical documentation and proposals in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, clearly outlining the benefits and features of Matilda Cloud solutions.

Engage in technical forums, conferences, and seminars within the LATAM region, representing Matilda Cloud and acquiring insights to inform sales and product strategies.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Over 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the cloud computing, software, or SaaS industry, with a focus on the LATAM market.

In-depth understanding of cloud computing technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and familiarity with major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud).

Proficiency in software development practices, API usage, and cloud solution integration.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of designing and explaining complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English required.

Proven capability to collaborate within teams, manage multiple priorities, and adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.

Availability to travel within the LATAM region to meet with clients, participate in events, and drive sales efforts
