Spearhead the creation and evolution of enterprise-level cloud architecture strategies and frameworks.
Design and implement robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructures tailored to technical and business objectives.
Develop solutions for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, accounting for networking, interdependencies, uptime, and disaster recovery mechanisms.
Assess and propose modern cloud technologies and tools that advance automation, modernization, and efficiency.
Produce architectural documents such as solution diagrams, reference models, and both high- and low-level technical specifications.
Work closely with DevOps teams to embed Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and stateless infrastructure methodologies.
Provide expertise in containerized workloads, Kubernetes ecosystems, and service mesh integrations for cloud-native development.
Implement secure, automated deployment practices through GitOps, automated scanning, and compliance-as-code tools.
Design scalable IAM frameworks, RBAC setups, and secure secrets management across cloud platforms.
Embed security principles and zero-trust approaches into all cloud architecture deliverables.
Define and enforce governance structures around cloud resource organization, tagging standards, audits, and policies.
Lead architecture-level security evaluations, conduct threat assessments, and analyze compliance readiness.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including business and product leaders, to ensure cloud solutions support company objectives.
Communicate architectural choices and trade-offs effectively to both engineering and executive stakeholders.
Participate in vendor analysis, capability reviews, and strategic technical presentations.
Promote observability by implementing logging, tracing, and monitoring best practices across cloud services.
Oversee cloud spend optimization through FinOps methodologies and cost management practices.
Remain up to date with cloud innovation and share insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Required Experience & Skills
Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
8–12+ years in IT, with a minimum of 5 years focused on cloud architecture.
Advanced hands-on knowledge of at least one cloud platform—AWS is mandatory, Azure is a plus.
Familiarity with essential cloud offerings like compute (VMs, containers, serverless), networking, storage, IAM, and security services.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or AWS CDK.
Strong background in microservices design, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), and API gateway strategies.
Solid experience with automation pipelines, CI/CD processes, GitOps, and DevSecOps practices
