Senior Cloud Consultant

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage GCP infrastructure using best practices, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and enforce security and compliance standards
• Lead DevOps initiatives aligned with TRCB goals and build robust CI/CD pipelines
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible for automating cloud environments
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automation scripts using Python, Shell Scripting, or similar scripting languages
• Automate end-to-end CI/CD workflows in DevOps product/service teams
• Apply Incident and Change Management practices for production operations
• Create customized tooling solutions across platforms and support critical services during weekends if required
• Establish and document DevOps best practices for application deployment and system reliability
• Conduct and participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality standards
• Troubleshoot live production applications and respond to incidents in real time

Skills Required:

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in DevOps practices including pipeline creation, deployment automation, and environment configuration
• In-depth knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer managing scalable cloud resources
• Proficient in CI/CD tools and strategies for automated software delivery

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible for infrastructure provisioning
• Skilled in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell
• Experience with PowerShell in Windows-based environments
• Familiarity with incident response, change management, and support operations
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud deployment

Education: B.Tech, B.TechM.Tech (Dual), M.Tech in Software Engineering, Software Systems, or Software Technology
