Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Develop detailed business and functional requirements, process flows, and use cases.
• Work closely with IT teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to improve business processes.
• Lead and facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis to support business decisions and identify trends.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee integration of AI solutions into existing products and services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial services industry and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with project management and agile methodologies (Azure Devops) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some Knowledge of ethical considerations and best practices in AI development.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of software development projects, from conception to completion with focus on Data and AI.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Utilize safe agile practices to manage project budgets, timelines, and quality requirements.
• Present project updates, manage expectations, and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Continuously monitor project progress, identify areas for improvement, and optimize processes.
• Ability to work 3-4 hours with US East Coast time (EST) with team members based in Northern Virginia, USA.
• Ability to translate the technical into business language
• Ability to lead others and Curiosity & desire to grow and learn
