Senior Azure Databricks Developer

Job Description

• The role is for a Senior Data Engineer minimum 8 years with Data engineering background and 3+ years in to Databricks
• Must be hands-on technical expertise and Tech leadership skills.
• Plan is to be grooming this individual to lead the Databricks team, which includes both vendor and Lockton employees.
• Strong presentation and articulation skills are essential, as the role involves frequent collaboration with the Databricks and Microsoft teams on new initiatives, technology upgrades, and resolving issues related to Databricks
• Should have overall 5+ years of hand-on experience on data bricks.
• Should haves 3+ years in MS Azur Data Engineer Role.
• Has implemented MS Azure data pipelines/project.
• Experience with Azure Databricks (Delta tables, Unitycatalog), Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse SQL.
• Should have experience in python/PySpark, SQL.
• Knowledge on data Azure Bus Service, Function App (C#) and GIT.
