Senior Azure API Management (APIM) Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure API Management (APIM) Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and management of Azure APIM services. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure APIM, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage Azure API Management (APIM) services, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
• Design and implement API policies, security measures, and monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, security, and availability.
• Monitor API usage and performance metrics and optimize API configurations for better efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for API management.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure APIM features and enhancements and implement them as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in administering and managing Azure API Management (APIM) services.
• Strong understanding of API design, development, and management principles.
• Proficiency in Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience with API security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and API keys.
• Experience with working Java Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and best practices.
• Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger and OpenAPI.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
