Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. This role requires a professional with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, EKS, Networking, and GitLab. The position is 100% onsite from day one, and candidates must be local to the Las Vegas area.

Responsibilities:

• Lead migration from AWS CloudFormation to Terraform.
• Use Terraform to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and manage lifecycles.
• Deploy resources across AWS regions, managing EC2, Lambda, and EKS clusters.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes (EKS) and deploy monitoring solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
• Manage applications leveraging ElasticSearch and AWS services.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with CloudFormation-to-Terraform migration.
• Proficient in Terraform, Ansible, and EKS.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, EBS, ECS, MSK).
• Experience in Python, PowerShell, Bash scripting for AWS automation.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MS-SQL.
• Skilled in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and SolarWinds.
