We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Architect – HR Applications to lead the design, integration, and optimization of our enterprise HR technology landscape. This role requires deep expertise in Workday, SAP HR, Workbrain, and Fieldglass, with a strong focus on aligning technology solutions with business goals across the HR domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture & Strategy
- Define and drive the HR applications architecture roadmap in alignment with enterprise IT and HR strategies.
- Lead the design and integration of HR systems including Workday, SAP HR, Workbrain, and Fieldglass.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance HR capabilities and user experience.
- Solution Design & Integration
- Architect end-to-end solutions across core HR, payroll, time tracking, contingent workforce, and talent management systems.
- Ensure seamless data flow and process integration between HR platforms and other enterprise systems (e.g., Finance, ITSM).
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure scalable and secure system designs.
- Governance & Compliance
- Establish architectural standards, best practices, and governance models for HR applications.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance to project teams and support solution delivery throughout the lifecycle.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process automation, system optimization, and user experience enhancements.
- Lead technical assessments and proof-of-concepts for new HR technologies and tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise HR systems architecture and implementation.
- Proven expertise in:
- Workday (Core HCM, Talent, Compensation, Integrations)
- SAP HR (PA/OM, Payroll, Time Management)
- Workbrain (Time & Attendance)
- Fieldglass (Vendor Management System)
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and data models.
- Experience with integration platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, SAP PI/PO) and APIs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HRIS certification(s) (e.g., Workday Pro, SAP SuccessFactors)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and security best practices
