Description

Responsibilities:

Lead the application management and support team, providing guidance and mentorship and also training to offshore staff.

Oversee the performance and functionality of Mariapps software solutions, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues, collaborating with the development team to implement long-term solutions.

Conduct in-depth system audits and updates to maintain compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Engage with clients to understand their requirements and deliver customized support and solutions.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for application processes, procedures, and support protocols.

Train and support end-users on the effective use of Mariapps applications.

Participate in on-call support rotation to address critical issues outside of regular business hours.

Qualifications:

experience in application management and support, preferably within the maritime industry.

Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Mariapps Suite, SQL, scripting languages, and application monitoring tools. Knowledge of ITIL framework will be an advantage.

Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and mentoring a team.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Familiarity with maritime industry standards and regulations is a plus
